“I want to give our clients a
tropical feeling in a relaxed and serene place,” said Connie Buehman,
owner.
Being in the industry for over 35 years, Connie has recognized how
people deprive themselves of quiet time and pampering. “Women
especially do this,” said Connie, shaking her head. “They seem to
be the last one on the list.” This was the primary reason for
creating a tropical sanctuary for her patrons.
“We have a different atmosphere from
other salons,” explained Connie. She yearned to give her clientele
a tropical divergence where they could get away and rest… just for a
minute or two.
Connie finds herself genuinely fortunate to be working alongside
such a wonderful staff. She happily admits an extended family is
building within the walls of her salon. “These girls are the most
cheerful and good people I’ve been around in a long time.”
